RCMI 2017 – 2018 Conference
The 2017 RCMI Conference highlighted the importance of basic, clinical, and population science collaborations to address minority health and health disparities. This meeting presents research opportunities to share new and innovative approaches, develop the next generation of biomedical scientists, and extend the reach and visibility of communities whose interest is improving health outcomes. Meharry took over a large group of participants to the conference where they engaged in various conversations on aiding in the rectification of health disparities. Many students and faculty presented posters on a plethora of different research from HIV to Breast Cancer to Zika Virus.
Congratulations to Binah Bayt Ysrayl and Sarrah Widatalla for tying for 1st place doctoral candidates during the poster presentation.
