Meharry Day at Mt. Zion Showcases Students, Provides Health Screenings

Students from the schools of medicine, dentistry and graduate studies were on display Sunday, Sept. 16th as Meharry Day at Mt. Zion took place at Mt. Zion Baptist Church’s Old Hickory Blvd. and Murfreesboro Rd. campuses. Meharry President James E.K. Hildreth Sr., Ph.D., M.D. told the congregations about the college’s continuing mission and commitment in providing health care to Nashville communities, and student medical and dental providers gave free glucose and blood pressure screenings and free oral health exams to parishioners.
